For Immediate Release

On Wednesday November 9th 2022 at 7pm (doors open at 6), the first edition of the Italian Soul Festival will take place at the Lowe Auditorium (869 Mass Ave, Arlington Ma 02476) to celebrate “The Soul of Italy Shining Through Its Musical Heritage”.

It will feature performances by some of the finest New England based artists, followed by a full set of music and visual presentation by Italian composer, director and pianist Mr. Vince Tempera, along with his Trio.

During the first portion of the Festival, Angela Rossi, Stefano Marchese and Spajazzy (all Italian natives and Berklee College of Music faculty) will showcase their interpretation of Italian songs while blending it within the idiom of modern American music.

The second part of the festival will feature Italian renowned composer, conductor, composer and pianist Vince Tempera, taking the audience on a musical and visual journey through decades of popular soundtracks by famous Italian Composers.

Mr. Tempera will be in the USA for a series of performances and lectures in the North East to present his acclaimed show “ From Fellini to Tarantino”, after a successful run of it in Europe and the Italian Soul Festival is delighted to have him as a very special guest.

His trio, featuring also Sergio Bellotti on drums and Enrico Santarelli on Bass will perform music by Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone as well as some compositions by Vince Tempera himself, including Seven Notes in Black which is part of the soundtrack for Kill Bill by Quentin Tarantino.

Additional musical accompaniment provided by The AHS Honors Orchestra led by award winning director Tino D’Agostino and Berklee College Piano faculty Maxim Lubasky.
